About Kim Gibbs
I tussled with guilty feelings for years. I felt guilty about the small stuff like all the times I fed my kids cereal for dinner and all the bites of chocolate I snuck while my husband was in the other room.
I’ve also felt the agonizing regret of hurting people I love deeply, and of feeling like I failed as a mom. Not only that, but I’ve done some pretty self-destructive things with guilt like thinking I deserved it, hanging on to it for years, or feeling guilty when I hadn’t even done anything wrong!
One of the biggest breakthroughs in my life has been figuring out how to overcome guilt, and now I want to share that strategy with other women.
I speak on two topics that have literally changed my life and the lives of others:
• “Guilt – How Do I Stop the Hurting”
• “Make a You Turn” This is another heartfelt program that focuses on how to turn a negative perspective into a positive one, based on some of my more embarrassing and funny – now that they’re in the past – experiences.
I call my business Montana Perspectives because here in beautiful, rugged Montana, my perspective is to live life full-out with enthusiasm, resiliency and gratitude. This perspective just can’t help but spill over into every talk I give. I love sharing the powerful lessons I’ve learned from working and horsing around in these Rocky Mountains.
When I’m not speaking, you’ll find me clinging for dear life to a saddle horn, blasting my way out of a sand trap, sipping hot chocolate, baking bread, reading National Geographic or ballroom dancing, and doing all of it with my best friend and husband, Brad (OK, so he’s not so big on baking bread).
